Quite often in my practice, people will come to me and ask my opinion on this article or that documentary or what have you, so today I’m giving you my personal review of the documentary What the Health. This movie makes some very important points that I agree with, but it also includes some things that I don't agree with—and those things are pretty important.

I have heard from far too many patients that their medical doctors have put them on some medication or another with the claim that they’re making too much stomach acid. Let me tell you right now: it is absolutely, physiologically impossible to produce too much stomach acid. In fact, many of the symptoms doctors try to treat with these acid-reducing medications are actually caused by low stomach acid.
